The Blackstone Valley Historical Society (BVHS) is dedicated to securing and preserving items related to the history of that area of Rhode Island known as the Blackstone Valley. BVHS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the exploration, preservation, and appreciation of the Blackstone Valley heritage. The Blackstone Valley (in Rhode Island) is comprised of six communities: Pawtucket, Central Falls, Lincoln, Cumberland, North Smithfield and Woonsocket.

There will be a short business meeting, followed by the program about 2 PM. Everything will be held on the first floor.

On December 28, 1889 a group of 60 citizens from the village of Lime Rock, Lincoln, RI met and organized the Lime Rock Grange No. 22, P. of H. under the auspices of the State of Rhode Island Grange.
